Emma Stone

Emily Jean Stone, also known as Emma, was born in Scottsdale, Arizona on November 6, 1988. She is the daughter of Krista Jean Stone (nee Yeager), who is a homemaker, as well as Jeffrey Charles Stone (CEO of a company for contracting founder and CEO). She is of Swedish and British Isles origins. Stone began acting in the ages of a child, as a member of the Valley Youth Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona, where she made her stage debut in an adaptation of Kenneth Grahame's "The Wind in the Willows". As she grew older, Stone appeared in many other productions until she made acting her career. The official narrative is that she developed an PowerPoint presentation, backed up by Madonna's "Hollywood" and later titled "Project Hollywood", in an attempt to persuade her parents to allow her to quit school and move to Los Angeles. Her mother and she made the pitch and relocated to LA. The schooling she had taken was completed at home and she spent the time auditioning. Her TV debut in 2004, when she was chosen to play the character of Laurie Partridge on the VH1 reality/talent show In Search of the Partridge Family. The show was followed by a number of smaller TV roles in the years to follow. Her film debut was as Jules in Superbad (2007) and following a string of impressive performances, her lead role as Olive in Easy A (2010) established her as a major star. She was a student at Xavier College Preparatory, Phoenix, Arizona. While she is a redhead, the hair color that is natural to her is blonde. It was Judd Apatow who suggested she change her hair color in Superbad (2007) and she was so pleased with it that she chose to keep the color. At the age of 15, she persuaded her parents that she could make the move to Hollywood. She made this happen by making a PowerPoint presentation titled Project Hollywood. She started acting at the age of 11 years old, at Phoenix's Valley Youth Theatre. Here, she starred on over 16 stages as well as was a part of the comedy improv troupe of the theatre. Caylee Cowan was also an actor at the Valley Youth Theatre.
